To say 2014 was an “amazing year” only scratches the surface on how great it was for Feelfree — an “epic year” is more like it. Typically, we wait until the new year to tell you how awesome you are but we know for most, new year’s day is better spent with family and friends or perhaps out starting off the new year fishing on your Feelfree kayak. Instead, we say it all today, THANK YOU.
Yes…thank you for making Feelfree one of the best manufacturers of fishing kayaks in the world! When we say thank you, we mean it and when we say you, we mean our customers, dealers, partners, friends, families, the media and of course our fishing team members and employees. We couldn’t have done this without you.
Our Year in Review (Highlights)
In early 2014, we “officially” announced the launch of our flagship product, the Lure 10 and 11.5. The Lure was designed to be a more stable/wider with an advanced seating system alternative to our popular Moken series which are known to be faster/narrower. We knew they were going to be a hit but not to the extent in which it is today. The kayaks were game changers making several top lists and were the focus of attention at several events and through the media. Later in the year we announced the Lure 13.5 which in itself was another huge hit. And let’s not forget the release of the Move Angler for kids because spending quality time with our younger ones while paddling or fishing is priceless. Our recreational line continued to be a success as well.
Of course, it wasn’t just the Lure that turned heads in the kayak fishing community. We also released our Feelfree Camo series paddles which are designed to take a beating and are offered in some pretty cool camo patterns to compliment your Feelfree kayaks. We also opened up a bazillion new dealers to help meet the demand of the new Lure and also our Moken series (ok, ok, not that many but hey, that’s what if felt like)! Did we already say how thankful we are to our dealers? And finally, our fishing team grew, adding a variety of amazing kayak anglers from all over the country to help represent Feelfree. We rely on our team members to not only help promote the Feelfree brand but also to advise us on improving our products and launching new ones.
What to Expect in 2015
As you may already know, we are launching our fishing bag collection and our very own Feelfree cooler. We offered a sneak peek back in the summer at iCast and are set to “officially” release these in early 2015. You’ll also see more in terms of dry and storage bags and kayak accessories such as the stand up bar for the Feelfree Lure 13.5.
Even more exciting is……………whoa easy now, we can’t ruin all the fun by telling you everything!! 2015 is going to make 2014 look like 1999 so stay tuned, it’s going to be a wild ride!
