Thankful and Excited for the Next Chapter

Wow, what a year! 2024 was a year of growth and transformation for us. We started strong with the expansion of a new distribution center in Kentucky to better support our Midwest region dealers. Later in the year, we relocated our main operations from Swannanoa to Old Fort, North Carolina. This move was driven by our commitment to optimizing operations and increasing efficiency. We found the perfect space in a city that is not only experiencing tremendous growth but also actively promoting outdoor recreation—aligning perfectly with our mission.

What does this mean for our customers and dealers? Easier access to products. With rising shipping costs, these strategic moves allow us to serve you more efficiently, reducing transit times and expenses.

Exciting Product Innovations

We’ve been hard at work developing new products for 2025, but 2024 saw some major releases as well. We introduced the Big Fish 105 and 120 PDL, both featuring a stern-mounted system for effortless motor installation—priced at under $2,000. Additionally, we launched the Motordrive 48V, compatible with any Overdrive kayak. This new motor is not only more efficient and easier to install, but it also now includes a battery.

Challenges and Gratitude

While 2024 ended on a positive note, it was quite the rollercoaster. We appreciate your patience during some challenging times. Our main operations in North Carolina before our move were directly impacted by a hurricane, forcing us to pause operations for nearly a month. Shortly after, our Florida distribution center and retail operations were also hit by another hurricane, resulting in some damage to our building and products. Despite these setbacks, we persevered, and we’re grateful for the support from our community.

Looking Ahead to 2025

We are thrilled about this next chapter as we continue to refine our shopping experience and build a stronger dealer support program so together, we can serve you better.
